Children learn best during engaging activities. Our therapy sessions offer a combination of evidence-based treatment approaches and playful activities to support learning and growth. We serve children ages 4-18 with a variety of abilities and communication needs.

ADULT THERAPY SERVICES

We support adults with developmental disabilities, neurogenic diseases, and persistent communication and swallowing challenges following a stroke or brain injury. Our therapy sessions are individualized based on your unique needs, prioritizing meaningful life tasks and activities.

MEET CHRISTINE
Christine Suraci, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

I am an experienced and compassionate speech therapist who has worked with individuals across the lifespan. Throughout my career, I have served in schools, inpatient hospitals, outpatient centers, skilled nursing facilities, independent living facilities, home health, teletherapy, and private practice settings. I am trained in treating dysphagia, cognitive disorders, reading disorders, and motor speech disorders including apraxia and dysarthria.


At Verbalizer S-Corp, I am dedicated to making my clients feel heard, working on goals that matter the most to them, and bringing real-life activities into therapy to improve their independence and overall quality of life. I take the time to explain why we are working on each goal, and I find it beneficial to collaborate with parents, caregivers, and family members to help create broader support systems outside of therapy.

 

In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, staying active, and being with my family and dogs. I look forward to learning more about you!

Verbalizer Therapy serves individuals of all ages at home, school, daycares, or online.

STEP 1

Reach out via email to schedule a free 15-20 minute Zoom meeting or phone consultation. We will discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and help you determine whether Verbalizer Therapy is the right fit for your needs.  

STEP 2

Schedule an evaluation session and fill out our online intake forms. During our first session, we will complete an assessment to characterize your communication strengths and challenges and identify areas in which we can provide support.

STEP 3

We will provide you with a written evaluation report within 1 week and discuss our findings, goals, and therapy recommendations. Together, we will create a treatment plan and set treatment goals that are motivating and meaningful to you.

Billing & Insurance

Verbalizer Therapy is currently in the process of credentialing with medical insurance companies. At this time, we accept private-pay clients, invoices, and "SuperBills". Reach out to get more information.
